The Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) engaged Litcom to provide project management expertise for an enterprise-wide Association Management (iMIS) software solution, together with an integrated major web-site implementation using a third party Content Management System.
Litcom provided guidance, oversight and direct, hands-on project management support during a very challenging time for the project. Because this was a multi-vendor situation, Litcom was responsible for taking control of all the streams of work; organizing the timeline, budget and project resources (internal and external); modifying the scopes of work for each of the vendors; and assisting and advising with complex vendor negotiation sessions.
Litcom’s project manager worked diligently and effectively to get all the vendors onside and operating in a cohesive manner. Litcom also supported any necessary vendor changes and introduced the key solution provider to ICD.
Phase I of the project was delivered on time and on budget and was extremely well received by the organization and its various stakeholders. ICD is currently enhancing the solution on its own after a transition from Litcom. Lastly, Litcom has provided ICD with additional consulting support in the area of IT organization, assisting with the development of an organization structure that is needed to support the company post-implementation of Phase I of the project.
